Ken (ケン)
Managing Partner
A chartered civil engineer specializing in geology and geotechnical engineering, Ken has spent over three decades working across Australia, Japan, Taiwan, the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, and China.
His engineering background shapes a distinctive visual perspective—one that observes structure, form, and landscape with precision and restraint. His work often explores the intersection between built environments and natural terrain.
In 2018, he received a top photography award for capturing the solar panel installations at Hong Kong’s Plover Cove Reservoir, in an event organized by the Water Supplies Department of the HKSAR Government.
Studio2022 was founded to present a curated body of his work, focusing primarily on nature and landscape photography.
Cindy (シンディ)
non-managing Partner
Cindy co-founded Studio2022 and plays a central role in shaping its visual and narrative direction.
With a strong sensitivity to composition and presentation, she oversees the curation and coherence of the studio’s work—ensuring that each series reflects a clear and consistent aesthetic.
Her role bridges creation and audience, bringing structure and clarity to how the work is experienced.
Philip (フィリップ)
consultant
Philip supports Studio2022 as an independent consultant, working remotely from Japan.
With a background in international legal and commercial practice, he focuses on structuring the studio’s operations, refining its positioning, and developing the framework that enables its work to evolve into a sustainable practice.
His role is to bring clarity, discipline, and direction behind the scenes—allowing the creative work to remain focused and uncompromised.
